A senior men’s inter-district cricket match was held between Madpura and Kishanj on Saturday by the Bihar Cricket Association at Green Valley, Purnia. In this Seemanchal Zone match, Madhepura beat Kishanganj by 8 wickets. Madhepura’s Jishu Qureshi bowled brilliantly and took 5 wickets for just 55 runs. Kishanganj, having won the toss and elected to bat, scored 177 runs for the loss of 10 wickets in 45.2 overs, while Madhapura, chasing the target, won the match by scoring 181 runs for the loss of 2 wickets in 30.1 overs.
Kishanganj’s batsman Faisal won the toss and batted first.
