He brushed off the question of whether there was resentment against the BJP for not giving tickets to his son. I am happy to be BJP. Thanks to Amit Shah, PM Modi and Nadda ji for giving me the ticket. The ticket was announced very late, so there was a dilemma whether I should stand for election in Pilibhit or Sultanpur.. I am grateful for the party’s decision now,” he said.

The MP, who contested the constituency for the first time after getting the ticket, said she was very happy to come back to Sultanpur. Maneka will conduct an election campaign in 101 villages in the constituency for 10 days.
