The Tamil Nadu Congress approached the Madras High Court against PM Modi’s speeches. According to media reports, the Tamil Nadu Congress Committee (TNCC) has approached the Election Commission (ECI) to issue a notification through a petition filed in the Madras High Court. The Congress claims that the speeches given by Prime Minister Modi during the BJP election campaign are communal. The Congress also directed to seek clarification from Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The issue came before the summer vacation bench of judges A.D. Jagadish Chandira and R. Kalimati on Wednesday. It was also said that the High Court Chamber refuses to accept the petition only because the allegations were made against the Prime Minister.
