The Tamil Nadu Congress approached the Madras High Court against PM Modi’s speeches. According to media reports, the Tamil Nadu Congress Committee (TNCC) has approached the Election Commission (ECI) to issue a notification through a petition filed in the Madras High Court. The Congress claims that the speeches given by Prime Minister Modi during the BJP election campaign are communal. The Congress also directed to seek clarification from Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The issue came before the summer vacation bench of judges A.D. Jagadish Chandira and R. Kalimati on Wednesday. It was also said that the High Court Chamber refuses to accept the petition only because the allegations were made against the Prime Minister.

Roaring in Jharkhand, Tejashwi said the BJP-led NDA government intends to change the constitution.
RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav on Wednesday alleged that the BJP-led NDA government at the Center is trying to ‘change’ the country’s constitution and ‘de-book’ SC, ST and OBC categories. He also accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of giving stepmother treatment to Jharkhand. Tejashwi said RJD will thwart all these efforts of BJP.

Notice to appear at Bangalore Police Station within seven days
The Karnataka police have summoned BJP national president JP Nadda and the party’s IT cell chief Amit Malviya. According to the notice, both will have to report to the High Grounds police station in the capital Bangalore within seven days. Both were accused of inciting propaganda against the Scheduled Community and Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST). Seasoned leader K Sudhakaran has once again taken over as the president of the Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee. Amid reports of resentment and opposition from some Congress leaders, Sudhakaran received a warm welcome at the Kerala party headquarters on Wednesday. There was also resentment and bitterness as prominent leaders, including MM Hassan, remained absent when Sudhakaran took over. Hassan served as KPCC working president in Sudhakaran’s absence.
Before assuming charge, Sudhakaran also met veteran leader AK Antony at his home. Following the All India Congress Committee (AICC) guidelines, Sudhakaran temporarily handed over the post of president to Hasan after he was nominated from the Kannur constituency in the last Lok Sabha elections.

Andhra Pradesh Congress president and Kadapa Lok Sabha seat candidate YS Sharmila sent a radio message to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Sharmila appealed to Prime Minister Modi to listen to the ‘Mann Ki Baath’ of the people of the country. He said, ‘Until you apologize to the people of Andhra Pradesh, you are not eligible to enter the country.’ He alleged that PM Modi has betrayed Andhra Pradesh for the last 10 years. They show a fondness for cheating during elections, but the development of the country is neglected. Sharmila said, she is presenting the charge sheet on behalf of the people of Andhra Pradesh. Clash between BJP and Congress workers
A 45-year-old BJP and Congress worker was injured in a clash between BJP and Congress workers following a fight at a polling station in Karnataka. The incident took place on Tuesday at Daipur polling station under Surpur assembly constituency in Yadgir district. Police said Bheemanna Mallappa Byali suffered serious head injuries during stone pelting and was referred to Yadgir District Hospital.
