Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Abhishek Banerjee has said that his party is interested in an alliance with the Congress. He said he also went to meet Congress MP Rahul Gandhi at 6 am to discuss it. Abhishek Banerjee, the nephew of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, described TMC as the true representative of the Indian coalition.
On Saturday, Abhishek Banerjee said, “If I was not serious, I would not have gone to Delhi to meet Rahul Gandhi at 6 am. We were interested in an alliance with the Congress for the Lok Sabha elections in West Bengal. Congress state president Adir Ranjan Chaudhary continued to dig into the party ours for months, but even so we didn’t respond for a long time.”
