Nitin Tyagi, Arvind Kejriwal’s special assistant, refused to campaign for the party. Former Aam Aadmi Party MLA Nitin Tyagi posted a video on social media platform X saying that the party is lying about the scheme of giving Rs 1,000 every month to women. This plan will never succeed and the announcement of giving one thousand rupees every month to women will not be implemented. The party would later blame the lieutenant governor for not allowing this plan to pass. But this is just a ploy to win the elections and they don’t want to be part of this conspiracy.

Nitin Tyagi said in his video post that there is no hope of completing this scheme, but even after that the party is making people fill a form to avail the benefits of this scheme in elections, which is wrong. He said that he does not want to be a part of such lies and hence he is stopping campaigning for the party from today. He also asked other party workers to refuse to campaign for the party.

Will you join BJP?

After this controversial stint by the AAP leader, there are speculations that he too might leave the Aam Aadmi Party and join the BJP amid the Lok Sabha elections. If a great leader of the Aam Aadmi Party walks away from the election in this way, the Aam Aadmi Party will suffer a great loss. Especially in East Delhi the party is expected to suffer a big loss due to the departure of Nitin Tyagi.

Local Aam Aadmi Party leaders say Nitin Taigi is not given enough importance within the party. Angered by this, Tyagi tried several times to increase his importance within the party, but even then he was kept away from important party activities. Seeing this, he was unsure about his future in the party and therefore made preparations to find a new way for himself in time.

Nitin Tyagi was an old associate of Arvind Kejriwal and his name was also included among those who became MLAs for the first time after the formation of the Aam Aadmi Party. Even today he has good influence in certain areas of East Delhi and has the ability to influence elections. Till now he campaigned for the Aam Aadmi Party candidate from East Delhi, Kuldeep Kumar, but today he suddenly walked away from the election campaign. The political significance of his move is being investigated.
