NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court has questioned the Enforcement Directorate (ED) as to why Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal was arrested ahead of the Lok Sabha elections. Court questions Kejriwal’s arrest in Delhi liquor policy case. Justice Sanjeev Khanna explained the reason why he raised the question about the timing of the arrest. He asked the ED to clarify whether the central agency can initiate criminal proceedings without taking judicial proceedings in the case.
