Chandigarh: Cheating of leaders continues ahead of Lok Sabha elections. Ranveet Bittu, the current Congress MP from Punjab, joined the BJP on Tuesday. Now on Wednesday the Aam Aadmi Party (Aam Aadmi Party) faced a big shock. Sitting MP Sushil Kumar Rinku and Jalandhar (East) MLA Sheetal Angural also joined the BJP. The surprising thing is that Rinku has once again got a ticket from Jalandhar for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, but joined the BJP after joining the AAP.
Rinku joined AAP only last year
Despite the alliance, the Aam Aadmi Party and the Congress are fighting separate elections in Punjab. Sushil Kumar Rinku was earlier in Congress. In 2017, he had won assembly elections from Jalandhar West constituency. But in 2022, he lost against the AAP candidate. However, he fought with the AAP during the Jalandhar by-election, which was vacant due to the death of Jalandhar MP Santosh Singh. Rinku won and entered Parliament.

Sheetal, who had defeated Rinku, also joined the BJP
Surprisingly, AAP leader Sheetal Angural, who defeated Sushil Kumar Rinku in the 2022 assembly elections, has today joined the BJP along with Rinku. Sheetal Angural represents Jalandhar West Constituency.
Big shock for AAP
Aam Aadmi Party national convener Arvind Kejriwal was arrested by ED and remanded for six days in the customs policy case where two senior AAP leaders left the party, a bitter blow to AAP. Despite issuing the ticket, Saha Rinku has left the party, which is worrying. The AAP leaders called several times to ask her to stay in the party but could not reach Rinku. Finally joined BJP today.
There are 13 Lok Sabha seats in Punjab where the AAP and the Congress have decided to fight the elections separately. AAP has so far announced candidates for 8 seats, including Rinku’s name.
