After the state leader and OBC Chhagan Bhujbal withdrew from the candidature contest in the Lok Sabha elections, now there is a picture that all the OBCs of the state will unite. In this regard, it has emerged that the OBC community will ask Bhujbal to take a decisive role in this election by giving a statement. The OBC community is angry that an OBC leader like Bhujbal has been used to garner votes.

Ajit Pawar’s group was nowhere discussed after the discussion about Nashik candidature started after the battle of Lok Sabha elections started. First of all, the name of the sitting MP Hemant Godse from the Shinde group was announced by Srikant Shinde, the son of the Chief Minister of Nashik. Mahayuti leaders in the area had expressed their displeasure as the name was announced without taking anyone into confidence. Bhujbal had raised a serious question about who announced the name of Srikant Shinde, while the BJP officials sat with their seniors to stop Godse from being a candidate.

However, suddenly after the information came out that Bhujbal’s name had come from Delhi for Nashik, the discussions started again. Manoj Jarange and some other Maratha leaders commented on Bhujbal’s candidature and publicly said that they would hold a meeting against him. Also, after that, the visit of Mahayuti leaders to Mumbai began.

As Bhujbal announced in a press conference on Friday (December 19), three weeks have passed since the discussion about names began. However, he expressed regret that the Mahayuti candidate has not been announced in Nashik yet. I said publicly that I was withdrawing from announcing the grand league candidate at the earliest. On this, the OBC leaders of the district and the state have come together and started opposing this decision. The name is stamped from Delhi. However, the message started reaching the OBCs in the state that the delay in announcing the name in the state was a form of contempt. Therefore, it has emerged that there is a strong feeling in the OBCs community that steps should be taken to participate decisively in the elections on behalf of the OBCs.

An OBC leader like Chhagan Bhujbal has been announced as a candidate from Delhi, but the state leadership is yet to give its stamp. Also, a leader like Bhujbal is expected to become an MP and go to Parliament. So, the problems of OBCs will be solved in a heartbeat. We will make a statement against their decision and request them to take the decisive role of OBCs in this election. – Balasaheb Kardak, Vice President, Samata Parishad.

A feeling of anger among OBC leaders across the state
After the retreat of Chhagan Bhujbal, OBC leaders from all over the state have started gathering and holding meetings, meetings have been held in Beed, Jalna and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. He has expressed a decision to ask Bhujbal to take a decisive role. These leaders are expressing anger that Bhujbal’s name is being deliberately left out when his name is almost certain.
