Zero: A couple from Kerala and their friend were mysteriously found dead in a hotel room in Arunachal Pradesh. The police suspected that the three might be victims of witchcraft. A Kerala couple and their friend died mysteriously in a hotel room at Zero Nagar in Arunachal Pradesh on Tuesday. Nerves were cut in the hands of three people and it was found to be a suicide. The hotel staff checked as the room door had not been opened. Three bodies were then found in the room.
The hotel staff immediately informed the local police. The police visited the place and checked and found a death note in the room. According to the police, all three had their wrists cut and bled to death, Indian Express reported.
Who are these three?
The deceased have been identified as Naveen Thomas (35), an Ayurvedic doctor from Kottayam district, and his wife Devi B (35). The third person has been identified as Arya B Nair (29), a school teacher and a resident of Thiruvananthapuram. The three have been staying in a hotel at Zero Nagar in Arunachal Pradesh since March 28 in the same room.

The hotel staff became suspicious and opened the room door as the room door had not been opened for a few days. Arya B Nair’s dead body was found on the bed. Her hand was cut and bleeding profusely. Devi B’s body was lying on the ground in a pool of blood. Naveen Thomas also suffered a similar injury to his hand and was found dead in the bathroom. The area police and the forensic team are examining the scene, collecting the evidence in the room and conducting the investigation.

Arya’s relatives filed a missing case at the Thiruvananthapuram police station. The Thiruvananthapuram police, who investigated, learned that Arya, Naveen and Devi had traveled to Guwahati and stayed in Arunachal Pradesh.
Daughter of a famous photographer
The deceased Devi is the daughter of renowned wildlife photographer Balan Madhavan. Commenting on the case, Madhavan said that the couple was living happily and there was no quarrel between them. Devi and Naveen lived in a house in Kottayam. They would come to Thiruvananthapuram only when there were certain special days. I don’t know what to do, what to say is sad.
