Police have arrested three more people in connection with the gang war in Udupi. On May 19 in Udupi, the video of a gang war between two groups in Konjebatu area went viral. In this movie style clash, both sides tried to crush each other with their vehicles. So far, six people have been arrested in this case.
The names of Majeed, Alfaz and Sharif are among the three people arrested by the Udupi police on Sunday. According to reports, the three people arrested are members of the ‘Garuda gang’. Earlier on May 24, the police arrested three people named Aashiq, Rakib and Sklain. During the confrontation, an attempt was made to wash Sharif with a vehicle, in which Sharif was injured, but now he has been released from the hospital after treatment, after which he is also in police custody.
CCTV footage of the incident is going viral, showing the two groups in the car fighting each other. During this, a young man is seen running behind another young man waving a sword. According to the police, the two parties met to reach an agreement on a matter related to the land, but during this period the dispute intensified and the two groups clashed with each other. After the video of the incident went viral, the police swung into action and arrested the accused. The police also seized weapons and a vehicle.
