A young man was killed in a fight between two parties in Atela village of Kaithal, Haryana on Thursday night. The deceased was a resident of Qila Jafargarh village in Jind district. He had come to his maternal uncle’s house in the village with his friend just two days ago. During that period there was fighting between the two parties

In the complaint lodged at the Sadar Kaithal Police Station, Rameshwar, a resident of Kila Jafargarh, Jind, said he was a salesman in a garment shop. He has 5 sons. His 21-year-old son Rahul works in a private company in Rohtak. Rahul is friends with Deepak from the same village. Deepak’s maternal uncle’s house is in Atela village in Kaithal.
He said that his son Rahul had gone with his friend Deepak on May 21. On May 23, fighting started in Atela village around 10 pm. In this, information was received about the death of his son Rahul due to injuries. After this he reached the government hospital in Kaithal with his family members. Deepak, Sagar, Balwan and Narma Devi were found injured there.
They came to know from the injured that there was a fight over some issue between Lakhan, a resident of Arjun in Atela and Gurcharan who lives in Andhali and the above injured. Lakhan, Gurcharan and Arjun had sticks and sickles in their hands. Everyone fought among themselves. Rahul’s son died due to injuries sustained in a fight.
SHO of Kaithal Sadar police station, Rohtash Kumar said that a case of murder has been registered against 3 accused in Rahul’s death case. The police are carrying out a further investigation into the matter. The accused is currently out of police custody.
