New Delhi (May 01): Anxiety has spread in Delhi-NCR since Wednesday morning. Threatening emails were sent to around 80 schools in the capital Delhi as well as Noida and Gurugram. The email stated that a bomb had been placed inside the school.

After receiving the email, the police visited all the schools and conducted a search. The police have arrived at the schools with dogs and bomb squads and are keeping a close eye on every classroom. The children were released as a precautionary measure after the mail arrived. Now the police are trying to find out who sent this email. Based on a preliminary investigation, the police assume that the mail is being sent from outside the country.

Was the email sent from Russia?

Investigations by the Delhi Police have so far revealed that one email was sent to each school. All mail on dot com is CC and RU is written at the end of the threat mail. It (RU) refers to Russia. However, it is not necessary that all mail is sent from Russia only. This conspiracy may also have been carried out while sitting in India

The team is involved in tracking the IP address

The police are trying to find the IP address from which the email was sent to each school. The police believe that once the IP address is found, it does not take much effort to track down the accused. A special cell of the Delhi Police along with a cyber team has also been involved in the investigation of the present case.

An investigation into the angle of evil or conspiracy

The police are also investigating this angle whether this e-mail was actually sent for a threatening purpose or whether someone has done mischief by sending the e-mail. In fact, there have been cases of bomb threats in some schools in Delhi-NCR in the past as well, so it cannot be ruled out that someone might have sent these emails out of malice.
