JMM MLA Lobin Hembram has filed his first nomination as an independent candidate on the first day after the notification was issued in Rajmahal parliamentary constituency. Lobin has filed a nomination in one set. After filing nomination forms, Lobin addressed a public meeting on land near the Agriculture Office. He cursed his own party and the candidate Vijay Kumar Hansda.

He said that Jharkhand Mukti Morcha should stay away from his ideas.
