Bokaro City Correspondent Two league matches were played in the JSCA Inter District Under-15 T-20 Cricket Tournament on Monday under the auspices of the Bokaro District Cricket Association. In the first match played at the BSL Cricket Stadium, Sector-4, Jamshedpur defeated Khunti by 10 wickets and entered the semi-finals by reaching Group B. After winning the toss and batting first, Khunti scored only 35 runs losing all the wickets in 14 overs. No batsman could reach double figures. In bowling, Prachi Pradhan of Jamshedpur took four wickets for 7 runs. While Ishika Deepak and Surbhi Kumari had two hits each. Playing the counter innings, Jamshedpur scored the required 39 runs for victory in 4 overs without losing any wicket. Surbhi scored 19 not out and Anya Verma scored 9 not out. TRDO Nishikant Mohanty presented the player of the match award to Prachi Pradhan of Jamshedpur for her sharp bowling in the match. Bokaro vs Hazaribagh match was canceled due to rain and both teams got two points each. Bokaro entered the semi-finals by finishing second in the points table. On May 9, in the first semi-final, Bokaro will face Deoghar and in the second semi-final, Jamshedpur will face Ranchi in Bokaro. The final match will be played on 10th May in Bokaro itself.
