Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, the Ludhiana Dehat police held a flag march on the streets of Jagraon late on Saturday night to maintain law and order during the elections.

The flag procession started from DSP office led by SDM Gurbir Singh Kohli and DSP City, via Railway Bridge, via Rani Jhansi Chowk, Tehsil Road, Kamal Chowk, Lajpat Rai Road, Railway Road, Link Road, College Road, Raikot Road After passing through five tolls and main markets, Adam returned from Raikot and ended up at DSP’s office.
During this, DSP Jasjyot Singh said that the flag procession was taken out only to create confidence among the city residents and to instill fear among criminals.
