The International Criminal Court may issue arrest warrants against the Prime Minister of Israel as well as against several Israeli officials on charges of genocide and violations of international law in Gaza. Meanwhile, the Chief Legal Counsel of the Criminal Court, Karim Khan, filed a request to issue an arrest warrant against Netanyahu. Norway’s foreign minister said that if Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu goes to Norway, he will be arrested. He clarified that Norway will act according to the judgment of the International Criminal Court.
According to reports in the international media, the three judges of the International Criminal Court agree to issue arrest warrants against Prime Minister Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yosef Gallant. From now on, Israel’s prime minister and defense minister will not be able to travel to any country that has signed the Rome Convention. If the rule goes into effect, Netanyahu and Gallant will no longer be allowed to travel to countries such as Germany, the Netherlands, Greece, France, Japan and Spain. Since the US is not among these countries, they can travel there freely.
