Rajasthan Royals won the deciding match. They won against RCB in an Eliminator match held in Ahmedabad. Batting first, Rajasthan restricted the Bengaluru team to 172 runs. With this they won against RCB by 4 wickets and entered the 2nd qualifier.

After that, Rajasthan Royals started the innings aggressively. Opener Yashaswi Jaiswal (45) narrowly missed out on a half-century. Tom Coller-Cadmore (20), captain Sanju Samson (17), Ryan Farag (36) and keeper Hetmeier (26) excelled. Finally, Robman Powell (16 not out) ended the innings with a six.
