The wait for the Vande Bharat metro train is about to end soon in the country. Railways is gearing up to launch the Vande Bharat Metro on the track from July this year. Sources in the Ministry of Railways say that this train is considered to operate in place of the Mumbai local train. This train can have 4, 8, 12 and 16 cars. However, this train will be operated in Mumbai with 12 coaches. The maximum speed of a full AC train will be 130 km.
According to information received from sources, this train will be operated in Mumbai in the first phase. Because there is a huge demand for local trains in Mumbai. After Mumbai, there is a plan to run the Vande Bharat Metro in the capital Delhi, Chennai and Kolkata as well. The coaches of the Vande Bharat Metro train operating in the first phase in Mumbai will have seating arrangements similar to the Delhi Metro. Its carriages are designed so that the maximum number of passengers can travel standing. If there is a seating arrangement in the middle of the cabin, then wide benches will be installed for that as well.
Like the metro, you can ride this train by taking a ticket. There will be no need to order tickets. Because these trains will be operated for short distances. As of now, no decision has been made regarding the price of this train. But railway officials indicated that the fare of this train will be kept low.
