Hubli: The Ministry of Railways has approved the extension of the Rani Chennamma Express train, which was plying daily between Bangalore’s Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna and Meeraj stations in Maharashtra, up to Sangli station. It will respond to the demand of the people of the region by increasing connectivity to major cities and making travel more convenient.
Here is the schedule
Train No. 16589 KSR Bangalore – Sangli Rani Chennamma Daily Express will depart KSR Bangalore Station at 11:00 PM and reach Sangli Station at 12:50 PM the next day. This train arrives at Mirage station at 12:25 PM and departs at 12:30 PM.

Similarly, from March 13, 2024, train No. 16590 Sangli – KSR Bangalore Rani Chennamma Daily Express will leave Sangli station at 3 pm and reach KSR Bangalore station at 6:20 am the next day. This train will arrive at Mirage station at 03:15 PM and depart at 03:35 PM.
South Western Railway has asked passengers to take advantage of this train extension service.
