- The Election Commission has given many options for independent candidates contesting the Lok Sabha elections.
The Dhanbad Lok Sabha elections are to be held in the sixth phase on 25 May. During the Lok Sabha elections, apart from the recognized parties, independent candidates will also be seen contesting the elections. During the election campaign, the election symbols of independent candidates will also be the focus of the people’s attraction. Some will be seen campaigning with air conditioners, almirahs, bats, hockey and balls as election symbols. Some candidates will be seen campaigning with a bracelet and some with red finger, jackfruit, chilli, pressure cooker, iron, gas stove and cylinder. The Electoral Commission has given the candidates the choice to choose from a total of 197 election symbols.
