A violent clash broke out between two groups in front of the police during the passing Ram Navami procession at Jala village in Pindrajora police station area of Chas at around 5 pm on Wednesday night. There was heavy stone pelting from both sides. Many people including the duty magistrate were injured due to stone pelting. During the turmoil, a miscreant burned a bicycle. According to eyewitnesses, stone pelting continued from both sides for about half an hour.
