A British veterinary expert has revealed why feeding your dog raw meat might not be the best of ideas – and four other opinions on pet ownership that may be unpopular.

Feeding raw meat – not worth the ‘risk’
According to the pro – who recently explained why your four-legged friend messes with everything during a walk – he has a special distaste for people who feed their dogs raw meat.
To him, it was simply “not a risk worth taking,” the Daily Mail reported.
As Ben explained, people are generally quite “careful” when preparing raw meat to eat themselves, making sure to wash their hands and avoid cross-contamination.
However, when a dog eats uncooked meat, it will get the raw meat juices in around its mouth – potentially spreading the harmful bacteria throughout your house, and even onto your face when it licks you.
The wiz warned: “If you have small children or someone immunocompromised in your home, just don’t take the risk of making them sick.”
