New Delhi: “If there is good will, there will be correct action”. That was the gist of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s speech at CNN-News 18’s India Rising 2024 Summit on Wednesday. Addressing the summit, Modi said, “The key factor is ‘niyat’ (will). Any other wishes? That desire is Nation First. There is no lack of resources in our country, so why should it be considered a poor nation? We are the youngest country in the world. There can be no reason for India to lag behind any other country. We have to move forward with First Nations intent”.

On this day, every sentence of the Prime Minister manifests love for the country. He asked, “This country has given us everything. But will we stay here or do something for the country”? He also replied, ‘This difference in attitude is what moves the country forward’. Addressing the audience, Modi said, “The day you connect your work with the goals of the country, whatever your profession, you will realize that the seed of Nation First has been sown in you. This seed is the fund. Aadhaar from India is emerging in every corner of the country. Save for yourself and save! If you want to live then live for the country, if you want to die then die for the country”.

The upcoming Lok Sabha polls were also highlighted in Modi’s speech. He laughed at the unnamed opponents. The Prime Minister said, “Our opposition party threw abuse number 104 at me. They called me Aurangzeb. Also made all the plans to eliminate me. But there will be no advantage in doing this.”

In the past a huge portion of the welfare scheme was stolen, today it reaches the common man. So, Modi mentioned that Amjanata was with him. He said, “During the last 10 years, 34 lakh crore rupees have been transferred to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries in various welfare schemes. During the previous government most of this money went into the pockets of the corrupt”.
