ICG deployed Rajtarang and Rajkiran

The Indian Coast Guard (ICG) said on Monday that two Indian Coast Guard ships Rajtarang and Rajkiran have been deployed in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. This will promote maritime security. ICG also said that this deployment will increase surveillance and ensure a quick response to maritime emergencies.
In a post on Twitter, ICG wrote, “In a significant boost to maritime security in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, the Indian Coast Guard ships Rajatarang and Rajkiran have been deployed from the north and south sides of the islands at Diglipur and Campbell Bay respectively.”
