It should be noted that three police officers who were injured in the inspection attack in Jahangi are being treated in the emergency department of the Akhkar Nichtar Hospital.
IG Punjab Usman Anwar also visited Tehsil Taunsa Sharif Hospital where he visited the injured check post personnel and paid tribute to them.
IG Punjab gave a cash reward of one lakh rupees each to the injured personnel and ordered to provide the best treatment facilities to the injured personnel.
IG Punjab said they will leave no stone unturned in treating the injured staff.
IG Punjab also visited the Tarman check post and reviewed the security measures and other arrangements at the check posts.
IG Punjab, while ordering vigilance at a small number of check posts, said that provision of modern facilities was ensured at the check posts. They will not hesitate to make any sacrifice for the defense of the country.
