We have a culture of taking care of those who come home and send them away. Udupi people have known about my house for decades. District MLAs and BJP leaders came to my house when I decided to contest in South West Senior Constituency. I spoke to everyone respectfully and informed them of my decision. No disrespect to anyone. In the Lok Sabha elections, when I was in-charge of the Shimoga Lok Sabha constituency, Dhol Dhananjaya Sarji was the rural in-charge of Shimoga and BJP candidate BY we worked together on behalf of Raghavendra.
