GUWAHATI: Tension erupted near Bharalumukh’s Shantipur area on Thursday, May 2, after parts of human skeleton parts were reported found near a drain.

Speaking to GPlus, Aditya Shah, Ada shared, "The skull and other parts of the human skeleton were spotted in the drain in front of Pan Bandar in the Gali Masjid. The police were informed but surprisingly, an e-rickshaw driver took part of the skull and fled before their arrival."

Meanwhile, an official from the Haralomuch police station said, "We were informed of the incident and noticed that individual parts of a human skeleton were lying in this area. We believe that stray dogs may have carried the pieces from the Bhutnath burn site and dumped them here."
