The election year had a huge impact on the real estate business. Compared to the last two years, the lowest number of projects were registered under RERA in 2023 and 2024. Due to the code of conduct for assembly and Lok Sabha elections, new projects could not be launched. Also buying and selling in old projects has shrunk. Builders hope there will be a huge boom in the real estate business from next month. Now it will start from Akshaya Tritiya itself.
