New Delhi (May 26): A fire broke out at the Infant Care Hospital in Vivek Vihar, the national capital, and 7 children died. The Delhi Fire Brigade and local people managed to rescue 12 newborn babies from the hospital, but 7 of them died before seeing the world.

It may just be an accident for the hospital administration, but what is wrong with those 7 newborn babies? What is the fault of their parents who suffer this excruciating pain? The question arises who is responsible for this. After this terrible fire, the family members of the newborn baby and the local administration are in shock. A case has been registered against the owner of the hospital Naveen Chinchi. He is currently hiding.

After the fire tragedy and the death of 7 newborn babies at the Baby Care Hospital in East Delhi’s Vivek Vihar, these 5 big questions are being raised:-

Question 1

What time did the fire start at Baby Care Hospital and after how long was the fire department notified? This is currently under investigation. The fire broke out at 11:32pm on Saturday and it is said that the fire was brought under control in about 50 minutes.

The second big question is who was there when the hospital caught fire. When a fire occurs, is there a safety officer in the baby care hospital or is there any responsible person from the hospital administration present in the hospital? It is not yet known who was present in the hospital’s security department when the fire started.

The third and most important question is what are the fire safety arrangements in a pediatric hospital? Are the fire safety measures implemented in the hospital or not in case of fire accident? It is worth noting that under the prescribed provisions, complete arrangements for fire safety are to be made in hospitals, so that the incident can be dealt with in the event of a fire.

The fourth question is whether the safety standards in the hospitals were investigated in accordance with the prescribed parameters before the arrival of summer or not? In general, during the summer season, when the temperature rises above 40 degrees Celsius, the risk of ignition and fire in machines increases significantly. Before the summer season comes, a drill is conducted to find out whether all the fire safety equipment is working properly or not. Whether water is supplied in the pipe properly or not and the motor is working properly or not. Along with this, the fire brigade team also gives them basic training.

According to preliminary information, the cause of the fire at the hospital is not yet known. Fire started due to short circuit or other reason. The real reason will only be known after the investigation by the fire brigade and the forensic team. Furthermore, liability can also be determined.
