The case of fraud worth crores of rupees by misuse of customized tahini rice in Markfed has now reached the Supreme Court. Former Markfed CEO Manoj Soni filed a petition challenging the FIR of ED and ACB and also filed an application for interim relief. The Supreme Court issued a notice to the ED and the state government in this regard and sought their reply. The case will be heard on April 23.
In fact, the ED has filed an IRS for rice scam in the country.
