The Calcutta High Court accepted this decision
Considering the weather forecast, the Calcutta High Court has decided that lawyers will be exempted from wearing dresses until the end of summer vacations. The court informed that after the summer vacations, court work will begin from June 10 and until then the lawyers are exempt from wearing dresses. Let us tell you that summer vacations will start in Calcutta High Court from 19th May.
A lawyer said that last year, meaning in 2023 as well, lawyers were exempted from wearing dresses in the Calcutta High Court during the summer.
