A mutilated body of a young man was found in the Ahira Siswa forest of the Valmiki Nagar tiger reserve. The police got the information and sent the body to the Government Medical Hospital for post-mortem. the matter is under inspection.

Superintendent of Police Rahul Prasad Manjhi said the body was identified as Dipendra Mahato, 34-year-old son of Rambhu Mahato, a resident of Siswa Tajpur village in the police station area. Looking at the body, it appears that he died due to an animal attack. Ranger Sunil Pathak of Mangora Forest in Valmiki Nagar Tiger Reserve confirmed that the mutilated body was found in the forest.

However, he said that the place where the body was found was full of leaves and grass of the forest. No footprint of any animal has yet been found. Footprints are seen from side to side by the forest people. According to him, the issue is under investigation. It turns out how he died.

Meanwhile, according to local people, Dipendra Mahato, a resident of Siswa Tajpur village, left for his home on Thursday from his in-laws’ house in Nepal’s Mahadev Patti village to vote in the elections to be held on May 25. Due to the closure of the border, he reached his home through Ahira Siswa forest. When he did not reach his home, the family members began searching for him, until then the forest department personnel who were patrolling near the Oriya river in Jessauli’s apartment in the Ahira forest saw the body disguised and informed the police and the SSB.

The police reached the spot and took the body into custody and brought it to the police station, where the body was identified as Dipendra Mehtu, a resident of Siswa Tajpur village. Inspector Sarfraz Ahmed said that the matter is under investigation.
