Karachi: Hazrat Ali Karamullah’s Martyrdom Day is being celebrated today with devotion and respect across the country.
Funeral meetings will be held across the country and mourning processions will be held. In connection with the Martyrdom Day of Hazrat Ali Karamullah Rabiyyah in Karachi, the Central Martyrdom Majlis of Hazrat Ali will be held at Nishtar Park on Wednesday 21st of Ramadan at 12 am organized by Zameerul Hassan Trust.
In which Allama Rehan Haider Rizvi will address the Majlis after the prayer and greeting, after the Majlis the procession of knowledge, coffin and Zul-Janah will be brought out. The procession will be led by Butrab Scouts, the participants of the procession will reach Chowrangi Exhibition from Mahfil Shah Khorasan.
Zahrin prayer should be organized at 02:00 PM on MA Jinnah Road opposite Bindu Khan Hotel led by Maulana Muhammad Hussain Raisi. After the noon prayer, a protest demonstration will be held by the Imamia Student Organization to show solidarity with oppressed Palestinian Muslims.
After the demonstration, the procession will take its traditional route through MA Jinnah Road, C Breeze, Sadar Dawakhana Mansfield Street, Regal Chowk, Priddy Street, MA Jinnah Road, Bolton Market, Bhatti Bazar, Kharadar, Nawab Mohabbate Khanji Road and Hussainiya Iraniyan Imam Barga will end at Kharadar.
Anti-fool security arrangements have been made across Karachi for the Yom Ali procession, and a large number of people will be on duty to ensure the security of Hazrat Ali’s main procession on Martyrdom Day in Karachi.
Before the procession is taken out, the bomb disposal squad will do a sweeping job of the passageways. After the procession is restored, CCTV cameras and aerial surveillance will also be maintained, while specialist snipers of security agencies will be deployed on tall buildings. The parade route and the surrounding markets and streets have been sealed off.
