Deepak, a resident of Bhaini Bhairo village in Rohtak, filed a fraud complaint at the Meham police station. It was stated in the complaint that a call came on his mobile phone on April 25. The person in front of him said that he can do the job. The caller lured the person with the promise of a job and enticed him with his words. Following his advice, he transferred Rs 68 thousand from his mother’s bank account to Google Pay. When this fraud was discovered, the matter was reported to the police. The police registered the case and started action.
40,000 withdrawal from account through phone hacking
Pramod, a resident of Kishangarh village in Rohtak, lodged a complaint of fraud at the Meham police station. In the complaint, he said that on 9 May, at around 9.30 pm, he received a call from an unknown number. After this, I don’t know what setting the person in front of him hacked his phone. An SBI account was attached to his mobile number. Because of this the accused withdrew a total of Rs 40 thousand by dividing Rs 20,000 each in two transactions. After this the matter was reported to the police. Based on the complaint, the police registered the case and started investigation.
