In Ambala, Haryana, a worker of his own party thwarted a payment worth lakhs of rupees from former Halka Party Jannayak Janta president by asking him to sell the land. When the land was inspected, it was revealed that all the documents were fake. Former JJP president Halka Ravi, resident of Babyal village and Ravindra Singh (BJP worker), resident of Tundla village, concluded a deal with JJP worker Sanjeev Kaushik, resident of Babyal village, for Rs 3.15 crore. According to the deal, a serious money sum of Rs 50 lakh was to be paid. Out of that, Rs 20 lakh was given to the accused, but when they went to the country, they came to know that the owner of the land was living in Canada and the accused was selling the land fraudulently.
