Guwahati: Chandujya T Pathak and Padmapriya Ramesh Kumar emerged as the breakout stars of the Asia Junior Tennis Tournament after winning double crowns in the boys and girls under-14 events. The tournament concluded today at the All Assam Tennis Association (AATA) complex in Chechal, Guwahati. .

Pathak showcased his skills by defeating Heat B Kanduria in the boys’ singles final, securing a comfortable 6-1, 6-2 win. He later teamed up with Pardnish Shelka in the boys doubles final, where they defeated Rishav Kumar Prasad and Madhav Dadic with a hard-fought 7-6(3), 6-3 win.

In the girls’ under-14 singles final, Kumar proved her mettle by defeating Janavi Teminiidi 6-2, 6-3. She then teamed up with Sarasthi Kiran in the girls’ doubles final, posting a resounding 6-3, 6-0 victory over Tammineedi and Parinitha Kutti Vattaprambil.
