A man from Ghana on the African continent has made headlines by hugging more than 1,100 trees in one hour, which will be set in the Guinness Book of Records. Abubakar Tahiru, a 29-year-old Ghanaian student, did the same. Although Tahiru is an environmental activist, Abubakar Tahiru has been involved in various environmental activities for a long time.

Tahiru hugs 1123 trees in one hour to win the Guinness Book of Records. According to the official website of the Guinness Book of Records, 19 trees are hugged every minute. Tahiru chose America’s Tuskegee National Forest to model it. Tahiru had to accept some conditions to create this precedent. The conditions were, you have to hug two hands, you can’t hug a tree more than once and if any tree is damaged even a little, the contestant will be disqualified.
