In the Badarwas town of the district, the festival program of the manifestation of Lord Parshuramji, the sixth incarnation of Lord Vishnu, a great ascetic, expert in weapons and scriptures, was celebrated with great enthusiasm and pomp by the Brahmin community on Akshaya Tritiya A grand and a huge procession of Lord Parshuramji was taken out in the form of a walking convention in the city of Went. Let us tell you that preparations to celebrate the birth anniversary of Lord Parshuramji with pomp and grandeur in Badarwas were going on for a long time and the people of the society were participating. To celebrate the birth anniversary of Lord Parshuram ji with pomp and joy, a gathering of the Brahmin community of Badarwas city and surrounding areas was held on Akshaya Tritiya at the Radharani temple in Gopal Mohalla, where in the presence of a large number of men and women, they worship Lord Parshuram ji in attractive form. In the moving ceremony, riders sat on horses holding saffron flags in their hands. Further on, the youth danced to the religious songs played on the DJ, chanted Jai Jai Parshuram slogans and waved saffron flags in their hands. Lord Parshuram’s chariot was moving amidst the drums. At different points on the way, the people of the town gave a big welcome to the procession, worshiped Parashuramji and welcomed the people walking in the procession. In the touching ceremony, all the men and women of the society wore yellow clothes. At the end of the procession, a large number of people present there worshiped Lord Parshuram and performed Maha Aarti as per the rituals. In the programme, over fifty outstanding students from the Brahmin community, talents selected in various competitive examinations and retired employees of the society were honoured.
