The technology company Google has launched its new smartphone from the Pixel 8 series Google Pixel 8a in India. With this, users will get many premium AI features with the Tensor G3 chipset. Many features have been upgraded in the smartphone compared to the Pixel 7a.
The phone has many features such as an OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 64MP main camera and a 4492mAh battery. Google announced the launch of the new smartphone through its blog post and social media platform X.
The most premium smartphone from the Pixel A series
This phone from the company is the most premium phone of the Pixel A series so far. Google used matte black and an aluminum frame on the Pixel 8a. The phone is waterproof and dustproof with an IP67 rating. Its display became 40% brighter than Pixel 7a. In doing so, for the first time the company provided internal storage of up to 256GB. Many AI features like clear calls, live translation, audio magic eraser and search anything have been provided in the phone.
Google Pixel 8a price and availability
Pixel 8a was launched in India with two storage variants – 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. Its price starts from Rs 52,999 and the top variant comes at Rs 59,999. Pre-booking for the phone has begun and it will go on sale from e-commerce site Flipkart starting at 6:30 am on May 14.
A cashback of Rs 4,000 is given to customers on purchasing the phone through several bank cards. Apart from this, Pixel Buds A series buds will be available for Rs 999 only. Apart from this, no cost EMI will be offered for 12 months on the purchase of the phone as well. The phone is available with four color options. This includes obsidian, porcelain, bay and a limited edition in aloe vera.

display: The smartphone has a 6.1-inch FHD+ OLED display. It works at a 120Hz refresh rate. Its HDR brightness is 1400 nits and peak brightness is 2000 nits. The phone is equipped with Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
Processor: The smartphone was launched with Tensor G3 chipset, Titan M2 security chip is also installed in it.
storage: For storage, the brand has given memory options of 128GB and 256GB UFS 3.1 with 8GB LPDDR5x RAM in the phone.
Camera: For photography, a dual rear camera setup with LED flash has been provided on the back panel of Google Pixel 8a. It has a 64MP wide-angle camera with Super 8x resolution zoom, optical and electronic image stabilization technology. A 13MP ultra-wide camera is available with it.
At the same time, a 13MP lens is available on the front for selfies and video calls. Many AI features have been added to the phone’s camera, including the Magic Editor, Best Take and Audio Magic Eraser. It also has an Ultra HDR mode.
battery: The phone has a 4,492mAh battery that comes with fast charging and support for wireless QI charging. The brand claims that the phone can work for more than 24 hours and up to 72 hours with extreme battery savings.
