The timings of special trains have been extended for the convenience of passengers. One way special trains were also started. These special trains will run from today until the second week of May. It has been decided to continue the service of two pairs of special train number 07046/07047 (Secunderabad-Dibrugarh-Secunderabad) and train number 07030/07029 (Secunderabad-Agartala-Secunderabad) to cope with overcrowding of passengers.
The service days, timetable and stops of these trains have been kept unchanged. Train number 07046 (Secunderabad-Dibrugarh) will run every Monday. The deadline has been extended from April 1 to May 13 this year. Train number 07047 (Dibrugarh-Secunderabad) will run every Thursday. The deadline has been extended from April 4 to May 16 this year.

Similarly, train number 07030 (Secunderabad-Agartala) will run every Monday. This has also been extended from April 1 to June 24 this year. Train number 07029 (Agartala-Secunderabad) will run every Friday. The deadline has been extended from April 5 to June 28 this year. These two trains were given an additional stop at Jalpaiguri Road station. This service period has also been extended.

Chief Public Relations Officer of North East Border Railway, Sabyasachi Dey, said that there is enough demand for these train tickets. Passengers on the waiting list of other trains on the respective routes will benefit from the expansion of these trains’ services. The details of the stops and timetables of these trains are available on the IRCTC website and are also posted on the social media platforms of North East Frontier Railway.
