Voting in Giridih Lok Sabha will be held on 25 May
Voting will be the festival of elections under the Lok Sabha General Election 2024 – the pride of the country. The polling will be held in Giridih Lok Sabha constituency on 25 May 2024 between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm. For the voters who will be in line at 5:00, no matter what time it is, everyone should be able to vote.

According to District Elections Officer with District Deputy Commissioner Vijay Jadhav, voters have to present Voter Photo Identity Card (EPIC) before voting. If for some reason the voter is unable to present the EPIC at the polling station, then in such a situation the voter can exercise his franchise by showing another photo ID card.
Another 12 documents are valid
Apart from EPIC, 12 other alternative documents are valid for voting. This includes passport, driving licence, service identity card with photo issued by state or central government public sector undertakings/public limited companies to their employees, passbook with photo issued by banks or post offices, PAN card, Register Cards National Population (NPR). issued including MNREGA job card, health insurance smart card (Ministry of Labour), pension document with photo, Aadhaar card, MP/MLC issued card and Unique Disability Identification Card (UDID).
