The bogie of Geetajayanti Express derailed at Khajuraho station around 6 pm on Thursday. This created panic among the passengers. However, no life was lost in the incident, and a major accident was averted.

After this, the railway officials reached the spot. The work of putting the bogie on the track is in progress. The train is still standing at the station even after 11pm.
The train (11841) going from Khajuraho to Kurkshetra was said to reach the platform. Meanwhile, the train’s S2 sleeper coach was suddenly teleported.
Geetajayanti Express departs Khajuraho daily at 6:35 pm.
