In Gaya, a grand procession was taken out by Mahori Samaj from Vaishya Samaj in the city as part of Maa Mathurasini Mahotsav. This inaugurated the festival that took place between April 2 and 7. A magnificent procession with musical instruments was taken out. The procession was taken out through various busy intersections of the city. The men and women who participated in the procession danced and sang in the same colorful costumes. After a journey of about 4 hours, the procession reached the Maa Mathurasini temple in Janakpur in the evening.
