The festival of married women, Gangaur, will be celebrated with great pomp on 11 April at Maa Sharda Mahila Mandal, Swami Vivekananda Colony, Katara Hills, Bhopal. On this occasion, various religious programs will be organized from April 8. In these Isar Gangaur Mata will be worshiped as per the rituals including turmeric, henna, procession, folk songs, Ghoomar dance. Mandal member Rekha Narolia said that the Mandal has been organizing programs in the colony for the past 2 years. This year also an effort was made to make the program a prestigious one. In which all the members of the board work hard day and night. The preparations for the festival are almost complete.
Isar Gangaur idols are prepared for worship.
The Haldi ceremony was performed on 8 April, 2 days before the Gangaur festival.
