According to sources, petrol may be cheaper by Rs 4 per liter due to reduction in prices of petroleum products in the global market.
Sources say that the price of diesel is also likely to come down by 3 and a half rupees per litre, but the final decision on the prices of petroleum products will be taken by the Prime Minister, which will be announced on May 31.
It should be noted that the prices of petroleum products fell significantly on May 15 for the next 15 days
The price of petrol was reduced by Rs 15 39 paise, the price of fast diesel was reduced by Rs 7 88 paise. And the price of light diesel oil was reduced. 7 rupees 54 paise per liter reduced.
