Four years have passed since its inception but despite this, till date the people of the block have not received a single drop of water from this Rs 48 crore scheme. Although, during this period, supply under pressure was tried several times by officials and public representatives, water began to leak from many places and began to flow on the roads. Regarding this, hundreds of villagers including Farid Ansari, Ursela Khalkho, Parvez Alam, Mustaqeem Ansari, Irshad Alam from Deepatoli village said that the Secretary has done the work of misleading the MLA, till today there is not even a drop of water in hundreds of houses like ours have not been discovered and the pipes and taps have become useless.
Now the government is also going to complete five years and the MLA’s efforts are also proving futile. The Lodh Rural Drinking Water Supply Scheme came to light due to heavy rains during the rainy season.
