At Rajla’s Kanhaidih village in Jamui’s Jhajha police station area, four people took a youth hostage and beat him up. The young man was seriously injured in the incident. The injured youth was identified as Mohammad Sarfarez. He is undergoing treatment at Jajaha Referral Hospital.

Mohad wounded youth. Sarfaraz told that we live in Bengaluru and work as labourers. He arrived home after a leave from the company for an important job. Some money was sent by the contractor in Bengaluru to get back to work. I had dinner at my house. Then Pramod Naya, Indarv, Ganauri and Lamohan from the village called him out of the house to work and were removed one kilometer from the house and refused his permission to call him Bengaluru or even his life.
In this regard he told them that the contractor had sent money to reach Bengaluru. We’re going to go low on Friday. The four of them started arguing with me about this matter and took me to the balcony of the house, tied my hands and feet and beat me with rods and sticks, injuring me. Somehow he managed to escape the clutches of those people after saving his life. Jhaja police station president Sanjay Singh said there was no information in this regard. No request was made. Actions will be taken upon receipt of the request.
