A Fort McMurray resident has died following a collision between two vehicles Saturday morning on Highway 69 near Saline Creek Parkway.
Upon arrival, emergency crews treated the driver of a sedan, who was taken to hospital with serious injuries
However, the driver, a 47-year-old woman from Fort McMurray, died as a result of her injuries.
The driver of the other vehicle, a water truck, suffered minor injuries.
An early investigation suggests the sedan drove into the back of the stillwater truck.
