Former Arsenal star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang broke down in tears after Marseille were knocked out of the Europa League by Atalanta.
The French side reached the semi-finals but failed to book their place in the Dublin final after losing the second leg 3-0.

Marseille drew 1-1 at home to Atalanta last week so knew they had a tough task moving forward.
Atalanta knocked Liverpool out of the competition in the previous round so confidence was high, and when former Everton and Leicester’s Ademola Lookman fired in the opener they never looked in danger of going out.
Goals from Matteo Ruggeri and Al Bilal Toure saw Atalanta run out easy winners to leave Marseille’s dream of European glory in tatters.
It was a hard result to take for some, with Aubameyang left in tears at the final whistle.
The striker struggled to hold back tears as fans shared their sympathy.
One responded and said: “Feel bad for him. He served us best in one of the darkest periods of our club. Chief champion, you are a legend.”
Another added: “Great player, I’m so sorry man.”
A third wrote: “Feels so sad for him. He’s been great for them this season.”

And then he responded: “Aubameyang deserves better.”
Aubameyang has enjoyed a great campaign in Europe this season with 12 goals in 15 games.
But he is yet to win anything on the continent after finishing as runners-up in the Europa League in 2019, when Arsenal were beaten 4-1 in the final by Chelsea.
