City Correspondent|Motihari On the fifth day of nominations, seven candidates filed nomination papers for the returning officer of East Champaran and Chauhar Lok Sabha districts. which includes five candidates from East Champaran and two from Shibar. Apart from Dr. Rajesh Kushwaha, Grand Alliance candidate supported Vikassheel Insaan Party from East Champaran, independent candidates Nikesh Kumar, Mohd Asraf Ali Ansari, Pawan Kumar and Braj Bihari Yadav filed their nominations. While from Shibar, RJD candidate Ritu Jaiswal and Suj Independent 10th Kumar filed nomination papers. The Grand Alliance candidates held a road show in the city to file nominations. Dr. Rajesh was accompanied by Municipal Corporation Mayor Preeti Gupta and others. Due to the convoy of vehicles leaving for registration, a traffic jam was created on the road. People were bothered by the traffic jams in the hot sun. The biggest problem occurred on the Chhatauni-Meenabazar road.
